Summer Solstice Puppet Pageant, Grand Marais
The 12th annual Summer Solstice Puppet Pageant in Grand Marais, provides community entertainment and a chance to be silly, together. Progress on the puppet play is caught by The PlayList. Jim Ouray and The Good Harbor Hill Players coordinate the story. The community builds the props at Betsy Bowen's art gallery.

Unveiling of the Birch Grove Mosaics
The students of Birch Grove Community School in cooperation with the Birch Grove Foundation and artists Kelly Dupre and Jeanne Wright created 4 mosaic panels to reflect the history of the North Shore of Lake Superior. On the last day of school, they unveiled their work for onlooking families, friends and community members
