    Ice mountains tower 30 feet over Duluth's Park Point. Lake Superior blew all the ice down the lake during a storm that had 70mph winds. It extends several 100 yards out into the lake.

  • Time-Lapse Kayak Surfing

    I set my camera on some driftwood and shot 10 second intervals for 200 frames. I was hoping to get a new profile pic for Facebook. Afterward, I decided it would be a funny time-lapse, so I made a time-lapse video of it. It turned out pretty dorky! Taken on Lake Superior near Grand Marais, MN. The reef breaks on 2' waves, but it's ugly. Don't look down into the water as you kayak over it.
